The lyric and vocal melodies for this song were
improvised in realtime as it was recorded in one single take.

When this song began, my primary objective was to imagine a
conversation between ourselves as humanity and Mother Earth:

What would she say to us if she spoke with words?

Would she be happy with the way we treat each other?

What would she say to the Oil or Timber Industries?

Does she enjoy wearing concrete?

My guess was that she would probably welcome the
opportunity to settle a few scores and to remind us
that we are all in this cosmic game together.

The title "A Role Of A Lifetime" is based upon the idea that
knowing and being ourself IS the starring role of our lifetime.

May every actor upon the stage of life, find their light.
