Composer's Notes & Quotes:

The lyrics, vocal melodies and synth solos for this song were
improvised in realtime as it was recorded in one single take.

My intent with this lyric was to make the point that our
sun looks just like any other star when viewed from afar.

A toast to the symmetry of perspective.

The other issue I wanted to address was how our self
identity is shaped by our thoughts, actions and reactions.

Self limiting thoughts and perspectives can do more
to hold us back than any external form of influence.

We are capable of changing ourself by simply changing
our habitual thoughts, actions, and emotional responses
and in so doing, we simultaneously contribute to the
emotional evolution of ourselves and humankind.

This song also touches upon the celestial origins of our species.

Anytime my minds eye sees the image of a comet streaking
through the darkness of interstellar space and coming into
explosive contact with earth, I am reminded of the internal
relation of the sperm entering the egg, unifying and bringing
into balance the cosmic and the microscopic scales of creation.
